Hitman 3 has been announced for the Meta Quest 3 headset, with this version rebuilding the 2021 game to create a new experience. Developed by XR Games in collaboration with IO Interactive, Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded also brings some John Woo energy to the mix, as you’ll be able to dual-wield guns for the first time.

XR Games says this will add a new dimension to the strategic gameplay of Hitman, and as seen in the debut trailer, you can can swiftly assassinate two enemies at the same time with a pair of 47’s signature Silverballer pistols.

Other changes include a brand-new cel-shaded art style, environments enhanced with more interactive elements, an overhauled user interface for VR, and improved movement options to make it easier to weave through environments. XR Games added that it has also implemented visual enhancements and refined gameplay mechanics amongst many other tweaks to Hitman 3.

This isn’t the first time that Hitman 3 has been adapted for VR–it’s playable in this mode on PS4, PS5 via backward compatibility, and PC–but this appears to be a more focused approach to creating a more immersive version of the game Come from Read More

BioWare’s Mass Effect TV series is back on, it seems. Variety reports that Amazon MGM Studios is producing a Mass Effect show, and that it is “officially in development” after years of no updates about it.

A project being “in development” doesn’t mean it will be made, only that it’s at some stage of development. The road from development to release can be long and bumpy. After all, the Mass Effect show was first revealed back in 2021, so it’s been in the works for a long time already.

The report said Daniel Casey (Fast & Furious 9) is writing and executive producing the show, while EA’s Michael Gamble is an executive producer as well. Ari Arad (Iron Man, Uncharted, upcoming Zelda movie) is an executive producer, too.

There are no plot details available as of yet for the Mass Effect show, but the main series follows the spacefaring events of Commander Shepard. A movie version of Mass Effect was planned at one point, but it never got off the ground.

BioWare veteran Mac Walters, who has since left the company, said in 2021 that a Mass Effect TV show makes more sense than a film. “If you’re going to tell a story that’s as fleshed out as Mass Effect, TV is…

The Dark Pictures Anthology, Supermassive’s long-running horror franchise of games that tend to play like interactive movies, is getting some major overhauls to its gameplay mechanics with Directive 8020, as revealed at Gamescom Opening Night Live Come from malaysia online casino . The next game in the series will be the first to be set in outer space and stars Lashana Lynch from Bob Marley: One Love and The Woman King.

Supermassive revealed a new trailer for the game during Gamescom Opening Night Live, that hinted at its story–a doomed spaceship, a crew of future victims, and an everpresent alien threat. It surely sounds like Alien, but that’s surely on purpose too. The game’s monster is also capable of disguising itself as other lifeforms, so there’s even a wrinkle of The Thing here.

But what’s most notable is how Directive 8020 will build on the game’s traditional mechanics of exploration, decision-making, and forming relationships with other characters that impact the story. Though these elements remain intact for the movie-like game, new twists have been revealed, too. This includes the…

Black Ops 6 will not have an early-access period for its narrative campaign mode, unlike prior Call of Duty titles, Activision has confirmed. The game’s campaign, multiplayer mode, and Zombies will all launch simultaneously on October 25 for “one massive global launch moment.”Previous Call of Duty titles, including both Modern Warfare 2 and 3, allowed players who preordered to get early access to the games’ campaigns for up to a week. In my years of reviewing NBA 2K games, I’ve come to appreciate–and even expect–the game to feel like an authentic love letter to basketball in so many ways. This has been a consistent attribute of the series going back over a decade. NBA 2K doesn’t just capture the culture of basketball; it helps shape it. No other game–not even Madden, despite the head start gifted to it by simulating Americans’ unique obsession with football–offers a total package as immersive and rewarding as NBA 2K. That’s why, in addition to my NBA 2K25 review–and so as not to become too bogged down in the ins and outs of it there–I’m also taking a moment to address the unfortunate pay-to-win economy still infecting what is otherwise the perennial sports game of the year.If you don’t play NBA 2K, you may be unfamiliar with its woes in this regard, and if you do play it, you may have normalized it to the point that you no longer see it as a concern. Unlike other sports games in which the focal point is often either the team-centric Franchise-style mode or the fantasy-card-collecting loot-box mode, Visual Concepts has built up its MyCareer mode and its social MMO hub, The City, to offer a compelling–and s…
