Indiana Jones and the Great Circle doesn’t arrive until December 9, but you can go on interactive adventures alongside Indy (and friends) with a few budget-friendly Indiana Jones board games. Several board games based on iconic films are currently on sale, each of which should make for a fun game night with fellow fans.Amazon has limited quantities of Indiana Jones: Sands of Adventure, a cooperative adventure from Funko Games that released last fall. The co-op game sees you and up to three other players attempting to retrieve the Ark of the Covenant before the enemy snatches it up. However, if the timer hits zero, you and your crew will be sent on a race to escape while still battling against Colonel Dietrich, Major Toht, and Dr. René Belloq. Play sessions typically run for around 45 minutes. Over 50% of Amazon’s stock has been claimed, but you can still grab a copy for $21.50 (was $30) while supplies last. After four hours with Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, I was struck with the thought that this is a game that is exceedingly challenging to demo. The original Kingdom Come: Deliverance had an impressive level of depth and authenticity, and these are elements that have been broadened and expanded on in KCD2, but this meant that the time I spent in the world of Warhorse’s virtual Bohemia were far too brief. Nevertheless, it’s a place and experience I am excited to revisit. While the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance was a difficult game for a lot of people to get into, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 aims to be more approachable in both story and gameplay without compromising any of the elements that resonated with the first game’s hardcore fans. Players won’t need to have finished or even played KCD to enjoy KCD2, but the sequel’s 80-100 hour experience will certainly be elevated for anyone that already has a foundation in the series.

Tarsier Studios, the team behind Little Nightmares and its sequel, has revealed Reanimal during Gamescom Opening Night Live. With Little Nightmares 3 coming from Supermassive, the series’ original creators have shifted into a new, but similarly macabre, horror universe.Reanimal is designed for two-player co-op, and can be played online or locally. In fact, if you do play it solo, you’ll bring an AI companion with you every step of the way through its unsettling, violent world. Reanimal features giant monsters that resemble animals such as sheep, pigs, and… well, some that are a bit harder to define. As the reveal trailer shows, the presentation and gameplay closely resemble Little Nightmares. The game is a cinematic platformer in which puzzles and enemies routinely stand between the player and salvation.Reanimal has no announced release date as of yet, but it’s set to arrive on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024: All The Biggest AnnouncementsSee More…
For the first time since its release on July 26, Deadpool & Wolverine did not finish at No. 1 at the box office last weekend. Instead, it fell to No. 2 with $29 million, which brings its domestic take to $545.8 million. When combined with its worldwide grosses, Deadpool & Wolverine has now claimed the record for an R-rated film with $1.08 billion. The previous record holder was director Todd Phillips’ 2019 Joker movie. Phillips’ acknowledged the passing of the torch with a post on Instagram, and he couldn’t resist making a joke about it.”Have to tip my hat to [Ryan Reynolds] and [Shawn Levy] for this absolute steam roller of a movie. We knew it was gonna be big, but this is too much. Congrats to everyone involved!!”

Deadpool & Wolverine has a multiverse storyline and numerous characters appear in the film in small cameo roles, but Halle Berry did not come back to play her X-Men character, Storm. The Oscar-winner said in an interview that she would have considered it–but she was never asked. This story contains spoilers for Deadpool & Wolverine.Speaking to ComicBook, Berry said it was Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds’ wife, Blake Lively, who bumped into Berry at a fashion show and asked, “Would you ever be in my husband’s movie as Storm?'”Berry replied, “‘Yeah, if he asked me,’ but he never asked me.”Berry played Storm alongside Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in a handful of X-Men movies. Another actor from the early X-Men films, Patrick Stewart, was rumored to have a cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine as Charles Xavier, but it didn’t happen.
